• Constable (Tradesmen) : 1438 posts (UR-508, SC-294, ST-242, OBC-394) in various Trades in various states of India, Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 2000/-, Age : 18-23 years as on 01/08/2013.

Online applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Executive Branch (General Service) and Technical Branch of the Indian Navy for December 2013 Course.

Eligibility Conditions:

• Age : Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years


• Qualification : BE/B.Tech Engineering with minimum 65% marks in appropriate branch.

Candidates with NCC 'C' Certificate will be given preference.

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 and MSP Rs.6000

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

• ASI (Radio Maintenance - RM) : 103 posts in various category, Pay Band : PB-2 Rs. 5200 - 20200 Grade pay Rs. 2800/-, Age : 18 to 25 years
