Job Description:
We require an IT Risk Manager responsible for conducting assessment and evaluation of IT systems and processes, and the mitigation of IT related business risks.
This role will provide the successful applicant with exposure to both short-term tactical and long-term strategic initiatives.
We are seeking an IT Risk Management - Executive and to be successful he/she would need to,
Champion risk, compliance and security initiatives within Technology teams within Gurgaon.
Proactively aid in the identification and assessment of IT Risks.
Assist in the rollout of Macquarie Policies.
Assist in the coordination of internal audit activities and team efforts to strengthen internal controls of IT.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management practices and awareness within the Gurgaon Technology team as well as other global teams.
Build relationships with key stakeholders.
Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members related to IT Risk Management.
Undertake IT operational risk self assessments.
Implement procedures and guidelines to facilitate improved risk management techniques.
Provide support for educating and ensuring adherence to Macquarie's compliance requirements by Gurgaon based Macquarie teams.
Support the delivery of operational processes such as business continuity management, generic account processing, IT policy dispensation approval, and monthly management reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
Understanding and practical application of IT risk management techniques to balance the risk v reward trade-off.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to both business and IT staff as required.
Ability to gather information from multiple sources, both verbally and written, and then consolidate this information.
Ability to build relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
Ability to influence and educate stakeholders regarding IT risk management.
Results-oriented, show initiative, be customer-focused, and effect change.
Ability to run effective meetings.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritizes these effectively.
Ability to work to a deadline.
Strong problem solving aptitude.
Able to deal effectively with colleagues and business users in a constantly evolving environment.
Comfortable working as part of global team.
